New build 0.4.9 available

There is a new build of ModuleStudio at the download page.
I am afraid it is available only for linux/gtk/x86 at the moment, other packages will follow soon.

  • Enabled using UUIDs in model serialization
  • Bugfix: several minor generator issues
  • Wizard has now only one page
  • Bugfix: prevented deleting compartments
  • New optional parameters tpl and raw for view and display functions generated
  • Sorting of joined fields in view state
  • Cleaned up pnForm templates
  • Upgraded to latest snapshot versions of Eclipse and all frameworks
  • Better multi-platform printing support
  • New palette styles
  • Reordering of list fields with drag n drop
  • Bugfix: ValidationMarker exception on editor switch after save
  • Bugfix: editor switch sometimes causes destroyed notation
  • Automatic synchronization after saving
  • Bugfix: Figure is not a child exception while editing table fields
  • Object array dropdown selectors

Happy testing icon_cool
As the models use a different storage now, follow these steps to migrate your existing models from the old version:

0. backup both the msmain and the msmodule file (just for safety)
1. open the msmain file
2. move something around or rename something in order to get the editor dirty
3. save the model and close it
4. delete the msmain file
5. choose "File > Initialize diagram" and select your msmodule file
6. select all model elements and perform an "Arrange all" operation found in the toolbar
7. save and close again
EDIT: Ok, PHP 5 only icon_smile By adjusting the classes and removing the FilterUtils, I can get it to run in PHP 4.4+.

Having trouble with .49 -

Generated a module, works fine on PHP 5.2.4 but doesn't on 4.4.7

It gives a T_CLASS error in the PN"item"ArrayBase.php where the lines are:

abstract class PN"Item"ArrayBase extends PN"module class"Array Where "Item" whatever.

Is .49 generation PHP 5 only?

I'm not totally familar with the cross-over between class functions on 4 vs 5. What can be done to have .49 generated code run on PHP 4.4+?

halbrooktechWhen will there be a Windows build ready of this?

I hope to get 0.4.10 out of the door in about two or three weeks. Please be patient until then icon_smile
Just checkin, any news on a time frame? :)
The new release has to wait until the new logo as well as some other outstanding tasks have been finished. Sorry icon_wink
bump :D
So, what's the status?
The status is that I am still occupied with the business plan for ModuleStudio, Zikula core development and other tasks. But many things have already been done, so the amount of projects is shrinking. I am looking forward to continue with working on ModuleStudio in almost fulltime as soon as the business plan has been finished. Sorry, but I can't promise anything beside that.
Windows version download is not working (blank page) in IE7, FF3 and Chrome.
Yes, no Windows Version avaiable! Nothing...yet, but hopefully soon.. thx for yr wrk
There's a link elsewhere in the fourms to a working DL for them
