Hallo Rolf,

vermutlich hängt das Problem mit dem Leerzeichen im Verzeichnis "Dokumente und Einstellungen" zusammen.

Auf meinem Windows-Testsystem hieß das C:\Users\..., deswegen ist das bisher nicht aufgefallen.
Versuche doch bitte einmal einen Pfad ohne Leerzeichen, zum Beispiel C:\Tools\ModuleStudio\.
Der Programme-Ordner ist nicht zu empfehlen, weil das Programm dort keine ausreichenden Schreibrechte hat.

Ich hoffe, das hilft bei der Problemlösung

ich habe es jetzt ganz wo anders installiert, und alles geht

vielleicht sollte der Installer gleich ein Verzeichnis "MOST" o.ä. vorschlagen

I am unable to install the new version of the modulestudio! I tried to install modulestudio but I have an installation problem. The problem arises the installation process, Immediately on step 6, I am given the error

Any advice highly appreciated.

Looks pretty odd. Does the logfile (/usr/local/ModuleStudio/director/configuration/1294248322655.log) reveal any details?

I'm not sure, you can see the logfile here I have used .run file on a debian base OS.

Seems like the installer failed to create some socket connections for retrieving the actual repository content.

Could you please try to either install to a location within your home directory or start the installer as root? If this does not work too I would double check that the connection does not get blocked, e.g. by iptables.

Well, I don't know what happened! But despite there was a same error message I got during the new installation process when i used a feresh of "MOST-CE-0.5.1-install.jar" (in step 6), Seems it works pretty good.

The .run file you used earlier is only a wrapper containing the .jar file.
Maybe there were some changes in the Eclipse mirror system preventing the installation before.

Hey Axel habe heute MOST installiert Installation läuft durch, aber beim Programmstart kommt nur kurz das Logo, dann ist Schluss - nix passiert.
Hab ich was falsch gemacht.

Welches Betriebssystem verwendest Du denn? Und welche Java-Version nutzt Du? MOST benötigt Java 6.

Im Falle eines Programmfehlers sollte es im Unterverzeichnis configuration eine Log-Datei mit weiteren Informationen geben.

Hey Axel, ich habe es unter Windows 7 (32-bit) also auch unter Windows Server 2003 versucht.

Hier mal der Eintrag aus dem Log-File, ist hier im Forum zwar schwer zu lesen, aber Du kannst den Eintrag ja rauskompieren.

den Fehler hatte ich auch schon einmal gehabt und hier bei Eclipse gemeldet.

Das Problem scheint ein Mirror-Server zu sein, der die Dateien falsch ausliefert.

Leider kann man derzeit noch keine einzelnen Mirrors ausschließen. Die einzige Empfehlung, die ich Dir dafür geben kann, lautet daher die Installation noch einmal zu wiederholen und darauf zu setzen, dass Du dann andere Server zugeteilt bekommst.
