ModuleStudio implements a DSL for describing applications which are based on the MVC pattern. The functional aspects are defined in a long-living model, independent of technical implementation aspects.
Different graphical editors allow comfortable modelling of several technical layers of an application. At the current pre-alpha status there only exist editors for the persistence layer and party for the process layer. Further planned are notations for the presentation layer as well as the behaviour.
An important part of the domain specific language are constraints making possible an automatic validation of models.
All models can be processed automatically, so one can create extensions for the Zikula Application Framework with the packaged generator.
