Documentation and reporting
This automn, Gabriel Freinbichler (gf) will begin working on several projects for ModuleStudio as part of his school-leaving exam in autumn – with and for ModuleStudio. He will implement two new generator cartridges for MOST and therewith care for that, beside a Zikula application, further useful things can be created from a Model, too.
With the documentation generator it will be possible to generate artifacts for documentation. Probably some new language elements become necessary for that, providing means to deposit this documentation during the modeling process.
The second generator serves to creating reports for different available metrics, like for example the amount of fields per entity.
Beside design and implementation of the actual generators the project does also contain some interesting single tasks, like for instance the creation of OpenOffice and PDF documents or first steps with the powerful BIRT reporting platform provided by Eclipse.
